What are Schengen visas, national D visas, and Airport Transit visas?

  • Schengen visas – It allows you to stay in Schengen country for a fixed period. However short-term visa allows stay for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
  • National D visas – Permits the holders to study, work, or reside permanently in any of the Schengen countries.
  • Airport Transit visas – Permits travelers to move through the international airport zone and travel to the non-Schengn country. With this visa, you can’t enter the country area.
