Whether you require a transit visa depends on the nationality of the traveller, not on your residence.

Citizens of many countries (UK, US, Japan, Australia, etc.) can transit freely, while others need an Airport Transit Visa (ATV)  as they are nationals of a non-visa-exempt country, like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, etc. So, if you are a national of these countries and holding a UK e-visa/share code, then you may require an airport transit visa to catch the connecting flight in France.
