Can I leave the Schengen area and return again with my Schengen visa?

It depends on the type of visa you hold. In case you have a single entry Schengen visa, you will not be permitted to return again in the Schengen area once you leave.

If you hold a Multiple entry Schengen visa, it allows you to enter the Schengen area as many times as desired and then come back to the zone.
